AS Media Studies – Monday’s Lesson

Due to circumstances beyond our control we have had to cancel p3 and p4 on Monday 13th December.

By Tuesday 14th December’s lesson you will need to have completed the following list of activities. Ms Poole will ask to see evidence of all of these things in the lesson on Tuesday.

Your Blog must be up to date with everything – the last post being about work you have done on your Main Task w/c 6th December.

You must have a storyboard for your video and this must be shown to Ms Poole on Tuesday.
Images

You must have taken ALL your original photographs for Main Task website by Tuesday’s lesson.
You need to BRING THEM IN ON USB to upload onto your website.
PLEASE DO NOT BRING PHOTOGRAPHS IN ON YOUR MOBILE PHONE. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO UPLOAD THEM ONTO THE COMPUTER.

We feel that given this extra time on Monday you should be able to take all of the photos you need for your website. Remember, they must ALL be original images.

THERE WILL BE NO OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU TO TAKE PHOTOS IN LESSONS.

You will be working on your websites for 10 lessons after Christmas. After this time there will be no lessons available for you to work on Dreamweaver. Any additional work you need to do will be in your own time.

This is also the case with the Blogs as you will be working on your videos. Please ensure you are regularly updating your blogs at home.

Nearly Christmas...

We have two weeks left before you finish for the end of term. It's time to check that you are up to date on your coursework.

You should...

Have all of your Preliminary Task information on your blog - research, planning, sketches, screen shots of your prelim website and audience research.

Your main task should be well under way - you research and planning needs to be uploaded onto your blog - including sketches. If you have any sketches you would like scanning in please give them to Ms Moss or Ms Poole.

You should have created your four pages and each of them must be hyper-linked. PLEASE MAKE SURE THIS IS DONE BEFORE YOU START ANY COMPLEX DESIGNING!

After Christmas we will start making your video, you need to make sure when you come back you have a completed storyboard to use when you're filming.

If there are any problems with your coursework please see either teacher asap.
